Moses Inglee v. Mrs. George Hayward, 1853-1858.

Correspondence and depositions relating to a case brought by Moses Inglee against Dr. George Hayward and his wife Mary Ann Binney of Boston. Inglee attempted to sue Mary Ann Hayward (widow of Dr. Amos Binney) for breach of marriage contract. Inglee's assertion that he deserved damages was ultimately thrown out of court. Among the correspondence relative to the case and to Anglee's reputation, there are letters from Charles Loring to Inglee about his suit.
